UIC SAFE serves as the official safety application of the University of Illinois at Chicago. It seamlessly integrates with UIC's safety and security systems, developed through collaboration between the Office of Preparedness and Response, the Office of Public and Government Affairs, and the UIC Police Department. This mobile application delivers an added layer of safety for students, faculty, and staff within the University of Illinois at Chicago campus.

The introduction of this app is part of a comprehensive effort to bolster public safety and emergency preparedness both on and off-campus. Through its user-friendly interface, users can easily share their real-time location with family and friends as they navigate, and discretely report information to UIC Police when necessary.
